AAA RESTAURANT FIRE CONTROL uses pressure washers to perform its exhaust cleaning service. Although 95% of systems can be cleaned thoroughly with pressure washers, some systems cannot. These systems are cleaned manually.
If there is an extensive amount of horizontal ductwork, the percent of manual cleaning may increase. When cleaning ductwork manually, strict adherence to OSHA standards for confined space is enforced.
All hoods and fans will be cleaned using pressure washers. This method results in a thorough cleaning. While washing fans, particular attention will be paid to waste water containment.
Before performing any of the above services, all necessary areas are covered with plastic sheeting. All areas around the hood are covered. Also, while working on ductwork, any areas that may get soiled are covered. In general any area in which there is a posibility of over spray or soiling, is covered for protection.
ACCESS DOOR INSTALLATION / INACCESSIBLE AREAS
All access doors will be installed in accordance with NFPA#96, Chapter 7. We enclose a specification sheet on the access doors that we install.
